The Best Glide ASE Emergency Survival Blanket is made from Polyethylene terephthalate (aka Mylar) to help prevent HEAT LOSS and limit SOLAR EXPOSURE! It reflects up to 90% of Radiant Energy. It is Windproof and Waterproof.
The orange is highly visible to rescuers in most terrain; and, the green is concealing, depending upon the terrain. However, the shiny side on either can serve as a signal mirror to rescuers, as well.
The Best Glide ASE Emergency Survival Blanket measures approximately 52″ Wide x 84″ Long; is 12 um (micrometers) thick; and weighs approximately 1.7 ounces.
How to Use? When looking for WARMTH, cover as much of your head, torso, and limbs as possible to trap body heat. To protect against harmful UV rays, turn the shiny side towards the sun.
