CAT6 decora plate fit with decorative wallplate(Standard, midsize, or oversize).
Female to Female Connection: CAT6 jack is female to female, just plug the Ethernet cable(pre-wired with RJ45 connector) on both sides.
To Make a Larger Wallplate: A standard size wallplate(4.5″ x 2.75″)maybe too small for you, then you can choose this cat6 decora plate and conbine with midsize or oversize decorator plate to make a larger plate.
The CAT6 Ethernet jack compatible with CAT7, CAT6, CAT5e network cables, but we recommend you only use CAT6 cables to fully utilize its performance.
The CAT6 jack can be removed from the decora plate, included with screws.
