This product is applied to monitor the concentration of total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) and triglyceride (TG) in human whole blood (peripheral whole blood or venous whole blood) in vitro by families, medical units, etc.
The analyzer applies the principle of photochemistry and is used with blood lipid test strip(ML-301) .The whole blood sample to be tested is added into the sample area of the strip. In the process of rapid infiltration, blood cells are filtered out or dissolved. The substrate react with enzymes and chemicals in the reaction layer and lead to the color change, then the color intensity is proportional to the concentration of the substance. The analyzer tests the color intensity of the reaction end point at the wavelength of 620nm, the substance concentration is calculated by the reflection the following formula the concentration of low density lipoprotein cholester in (LDL) is calculated, the ratio of TC and HDL can also be calculated. LDL=TC-HDL-TG/5 mg/dL or LDL=TC-HDL-TG/2.2 mmol/L
